Meet Pebbles
When we were looking for foundation doelings to bring in to start our Lamancha program, J-Haven was a herd that stood out for consistency, quality, and production. When we saw Pebbles’ dam, Knickers, in a dry-yearling photo, we instantly loved her; she is incredibly correct, balanced, and strong. We immediately reserved a doeling from the breeding of Knickers to Kastdemur’s Jimmy Choo, and ended up bring home two, Pebbles and Petticoat. Tragically, in the horrible weather of spring 2026 (swings from 90s to 50s in 48 hours) we lost Petticoat to breakthrough enterotoxemia. We are so thankful to have Pebbles, who has the qualities we love in her mother plus the refinement and “look at me” attitude of her dad. Pebbles is an ultra correct LaMancha doeling with lots of breed character and a friendly, in-your-pocket personality.
