Meet Kate
Born April 27, 2026, Kate came to us from Congaree Farms (South Congaree, SC). We were absolutely full up for the year, but made the mistake of checking the North Carolina DGBA benefit auction doelings. And there was this kid sucking on a bottle, with the most WOW head and underjaw, and perfect eye placement. I’m a sucker for a head, but heads don’t make milk, so I kept looking – and the wow on this kid just kept on going. Width, strength, fabulous pedigree packed with Foxwood and old genetics. I am happy to say that we bid her up to a respectful amount and she came home (with Mary Jane, because everybody knows a goat can never travel alone, right?) in May. We are grateful for the care her breeder invested, for the incredibly generous donation they made to a really great club, and for the support they continue to offer as she grows into our milking herd.
