Our does give birth once a year in the spring, five months after the fall breeding season. All kids are raised on milk and are encouraged to forage on herbs, grasses, and tender leaves. Our practices are regenerative and respectful to the nature of the land and the nature of our animals.
Our growing goats are fed an entirely vegetarian diet, with no animal-source protein and no soy protein, and rotate through naturally grown forage areas. They have a low-stress, interesting, enriched life, growing up with family and friends and lots of love.
Males are castrated (khasi) but are otherwise exactly as they are born – unblemished, uncut, uninjured. Females are available as well.
We have pigs on the farm, but the goats never contact the pigs and do not share a fenceline.

All fall market kids (roughly six months old, 70-90 lb) are sold at a small premium to that week’s USDA market price in Bowling Green KY.
Eid Qurbani/Udhiya yearlings are sold by live weight per pound.

Each year, a very small proportion of our babies are available to families and homesteads; they’ll be beautiful, efficient, productive milkers for your household. We carefully plan each of our breedings, with the goal of making high-quality show does, top producers, and (above all) healthy, growthy, and loving family milkers.
Kids are sold once they are solidly on the bottle and are healthy and thriving, typically 3-4 weeks old. We administer supplemental selenium, probiotics, and vaccines as appropriate for their age.
When you bring your baby home, you should plan on feeding her two to three quarts of milk a day until weaning. If you do not have a milking doe or feel more comfortable with us raising the kid(s) until weaning, we charge $200/month for full care, including all veterinary needs, and wean at 12 weeks.
We offer ground transport within 150 miles of seacoast New Hampshire, and are experienced air shippers for buyers from farther away.
Our babies are socialized, affectionate, and love people.
