AC

Born March 21, 2026, AC came to us from Lucky Run Farm. I have admired her dam, Camelot, for her strength and capacity, and was thrilled when she had a doeling for us. AC was supposed to be named after the famous Monty Python Camelot reference in the Holy Grail, but the first night she was home and was introduced to the resident kids she opened her mouth and screamed so loudly that we could hear her from the street. We all looked at each other, startled by the sheer decibel level produced by this tiny baby, before calling “Get her inside before someone calls Animal Control!”  She spent her first five days in the house, sleeping with the cats and wearing a diaper, before she would deign to be outside. She knew that if she yelled loud enough, we’d say “Animal Control!” and bring her in. So Animal Control became her name by default (and volume). We are grateful for the care her breeder invested and for the support they continue to offer as she grows into our milking herd – though we wouldn’t mind a slightly weaker voice box!
